This site is devoted to the Muna language, a language spoken by around 300,000 people in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The site contains various kinds of materials:

  • a grammar of Muna;
  • linguistic articles about Muna;
  • stories from Muna (in three languages), e.g. folktales, myths, legends;
  • translated tales from other parts of the world;
  • a spelling guide;
  • school books to learn Muna.

The site is under development and will continue to grow. The plan is to also publish a Muna dictionary, many more texts, information on the culture and history of Muna, maps of Muna and pictures of Muna.
